6. High-Quality super vacuum equipment
We use the most top-quality super vacuum technology available today for your air duct cleaning needs.
Cleaning a complex air duct system is a big job that can’t be done with a shop vac or by a small company with no experience. This special vacuum is used because it creates negative airflow, a necessary component to properly cleaning out the worst contaminants from your home’s air duct system. We draw these out of your home, ridding your system of them rather than putting them right back into your air.

7. We protect your home
We take proper measures protect your home for damages and messes.
In order to perform the type of in-depth cleaning we provide, we must access every room that has either an air duct or cold-air return. StarDucts technicians will not start the job until they have protected every floor, doorway, and wall corner in your home. They also put down tarps on your flooring, add plastic corner guards, and wear shoe covers to ensure the cleanest experience possible.
8. Our vacuum is connected with a main trunk line
We adjoin an 8-inch vacuum hose to your main trunk line which is what creates that huge negative air flow that removes dirt, dust, pathogens, pet dander, allergens, and contaminants that are lurking within your system.
9. Maximize air pressure hoses and vacuum
Once we connect the hose, our giant vacuum fan on our truck starts pulling all your air through the ducts. We cover the registers to create an environment of negative pressure which prevents those contaminants from coming back into your home.
10. Compressed air tools and roto brush
We pull huge volumes of air to the truck and then feed our industry-leading air scrubbing tools down each vent line. This forces all the contaminants out of your home and into our special truck, removing years of buildup.
11. Clean the cold air return
Once these steps are complete, we turn our attention to the cold-air return. We remove the main return and clean the vent, covers, and lines through your whole home.
12. Cleaning Trunk Lines And Plenums
Next, we get inside the supply (trunk) lines and the return air (plenums) to clean them with our special scrubbing tools. With new galvanized panels, we put them over the openings for the vacuum and seal them, then run a complete system test to be sure every last bit of pollutant is gone.
